"I got used to eating from cans whatever was left. I actually now like kidney beans from the can. I used to be sad when we had no food. Now we go to food pantries and we get fresh food and cool snacks. I even volunteer at the pantries now. We will never been hungry again.”

Every day, every week, every month, every year, 1 in 4 residents in Northwest Arkansas are Food Insecure and this number does not discriminate. Many senior citizens, children, like Jayden, and families of all backgrounds face hunger.

The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, along with our member agencies, fight to end hunger in NWA every day so that everyone can have access to nutritious food. Without the help of our compassionate donors, children like Jayden would not have the food needed for proper growth and development.
