Variety Insurance Annual Back To School Celebration

The public is invited to the annual Variety Insurance Back to School Celebration Backpack Giveaway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, on the downtown Springdale Shiloh Square, 106 E. Emma St. There will be 500 backpacks given away during the event.

There will be free backpacks, food, a bouncy house, face painting, school supplies and more. The Springdale Police Department will print ID kits for kids. Free haircuts will be provided by 5 Star Barbershop.

A $500 gift card for back-to-school shopping will be given to a family who registers at the event.

Sponsoring the event are the Springdale Chamber of Commerce, Weichert Griffin Co., Promise Land Church, Tec Staffing, First Security Bank, Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, Law Office of Roy Petty, Valerie’s Family Tax, Royal Prestige, NWA Tobacco and Drug Free Coalition and Community Clinic.
