Arvest Donates Over 100,000 Meals to NWAFB

In May, Arvest launched their 1 Million Meals initiative to raise 1 million meals via donations of non-perishable food items and monetary contributions. Over 2 months, Arvest held a bank wide effort across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma to collect money and food for those who are struggling with hunger in those four states.

This year, their total has surpassed the million meals mark with 1,712,601 total meals donated. 115,125 of those meals were donated to the ones who are food insecure in Northwest Arkansas. The NWA Food Bank plans to use these meals to address the issue of hunger among the 1 in 4 Northwest Arkansas residents facing hunger on a daily basis.
