Cargill, a longtime partner of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, donated 40,000 pounds of turkeys on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.

Along with their sizable donation, a $6,000 check was presented to the food bank to put towards ending hunger in NWA. This check will provide 30,000 meals for those that struggle with food insecurity in our community.

As the holiday season rolls in, it is important to remember that 1 in 4 residents in NWA are food insecure. A donation of this magnitude will give families across Washington, Benton, Carroll and Madison Counties a great deal to be thankful for.

For more information on how to join the fight against hunger, please call 479-872-8774.
