Cowan to track client data for the Food Bank
Casey Cowan was recently named as director of client data tracking at the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. In her newly created job, Cowan will be gathering and analyzing data about clients served by the Food Bank and its affiliated agencies so that the agencies can better understand the needs of their clients.
The data gathered also can assist donors in understanding the clients being served in the four county area – Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington, she added. “I like working with a group that is all working toward the same common goal – Helping People,” Cowan said about her new job.
“I have long admired the work ethic and drive that Casey possesses,” Kent Eikenberry, president and CEO of the Food Bank. “The addition of her to our team will put us in a position to better serve the agencies and ultimately the clients they serve.”
She also will be assisting Food Bank-sponsored events, such as the annual Jewels of Giving Gala and the annual meeting.
A native of Arkansas, she grew up in the River Valley, near Clarksville. After graduating from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, she has spent the last 15 years in Northwest Arkansas working in sales and marketing. Prior to coming to the Food Bank, Cowan worked in print advertising at the Star Shopper and the Morning News. Cowan recently received the 2016 Jackie New award for her work with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She has volunteered at the Ozark Race for the Cure since 2009.
The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank serves more than 150 food pantries and agencies in a four-county area – Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington.
